Business will continue as usual for the time being.  We will have announcements regarding the Underwater World brand which will be released over the next year. Meanwhile, rest assured that you will still receive the great service and scuba instruction you have been accustomed to at Underwater World Scuba Center. While ownership of the company has changed, nothing else will change in the immediate future.

The Dive Center:

Underwater World - founded in August 1974 by Don Stanger - has been operating in Omaha for over 49 years. With Don's recent decision to become semi-retired and enjoy the scuba diver 'good-life', Steiner Scuba has now taken ownership of the Underwater World Dive business. We look forward to re-launching our retail Dive Center and continue the success that Underwater World has had with its customers over these past 49 years. When the Dive Center re-launches it will be branded as 'Underwater World' directly supporting the 'Kroc Scuba' and Steiner SCUBA brands. Until that time Underwater World will continue to operate in the model it has been using since 1974.
